Daniş, who started to work as a lawyer at Heuking Kühn Lüer Woijtek Law Firm in Germany, later worked as a consultant lawyer in the Frankfurt office of Baker & McKenzie Law Firm, one of the world's largest law firms. Between 2006 and 2012, he worked as a lecturer in the Department of Commercial Law at Istanbul Commerce University Law Faculty. Erkan Daniş lastly taught Intellectual Property Law at Altınbaş University Faculty of Law.
